THE WOMAN WHO BEFRIENDED GHOST ACCORDION BOOK

This project is an adaptation of Ransom Riggs' short story "The Woman Who Befriended Ghosts" from the children's picture book "Tales of the Peculiar." The narrative follows Hildy, a little girl with the ability to see ghosts, in her quest to make a ghost buddy.

 

The book is laid out like an accordion and has a continuous illustration throughout. As a result, it can serve as a long artwork or a book with two spreads. The back side of the book is blank, so I came up with the idea of creating a ghost gallery there, complete with photo frames of the ghosts I included in the book illustration.
